Respect for intellectual property
Anysourcecode.com is operated by IT Systems Consulting LLC. We respect copyright and other intellectual-property rights and provide a process for reporting suspected infringement.
Products and promotional materials may be protected by copyright. Their availability on Anysourcecode does not mean they are public domain or covered by one universal license. The applicable license depends on the individual product and its components.
Seller responsibilities
Sellers must own or hold sufficient permissions to distribute their products and use the accompanying screenshots, videos, demonstrations, descriptions and other materials. Describing material as educational, informational or promotional does not automatically authorize its use.
Listing a product does not itself transfer copyright ownership to Anysourcecode. Permissions needed to host, display, promote or deliver submitted material are governed by the applicable marketplace agreements.
Reporting suspected infringement
If you believe material on Anysourcecode infringes your copyright, send a written report through our contact form or email [email protected]. Please use the subject “Copyright infringement report.”
For a copyright notice under the US DMCA, include:
- Your contact details: Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address. If you represent the rights holder, identify them and explain your authority to act.
- Identification of the protected work: Identify the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. Where available, provide a link to the original work or other supporting information.
- Location of the reported material: Identify the material and provide information sufficient to locate it. Direct links to affected listings, images or other pages are particularly helpful. A search term is not required.
- Good-faith statement: State that you have a good-faith belief that the reported use is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent or the law.
- Accuracy and authority statement: State that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the allegedly infringed exclusive right.
- Signature: Include your physical or electronic signature.
How we handle reports
We assess reports promptly and may request clarification, contact the affected seller, or remove or restrict access to material as appropriate. Where applicable, statutory notice-and-takedown requirements govern our response.
We aim to acknowledge reports within one to two business days. This is an initial-response target, not a guaranteed resolution period or an extension of a legal deadline.
Relevant information from a report may be shared with the affected seller or other parties where necessary to investigate or comply with legal requirements. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
If your material has been removed
If you believe material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification, contact us with the affected listing and supporting information. Where the DMCA counter-notification procedure applies, the response must meet its statutory requirements, including the required statements, signature and jurisdiction consent.
A valid counter-notification may be shared with the original complainant. Any restoration will follow the applicable statutory process and timing, subject to notice of a qualifying court action. Consider obtaining legal advice before submitting a formal counter-notification.
False reports and repeated infringement
Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notification may result in legal liability.
We may restrict listings or suspend or terminate accounts involved in repeated or serious infringement, as appropriate under applicable law and our marketplace rules.
Requests concerning other websites
Submitting a product to Anysourcecode does not automatically appoint us as your representative for copyright enforcement. Any assistance with notices concerning another website requires separate, specific authorization from the rights holder and our agreement to assist.
Other intellectual-property concerns
Trademark and other intellectual-property concerns can also be reported through our contact form or email. Identify the rights involved, the affected material and the reasons for your report. These concerns are assessed under the relevant law rather than automatically treated as copyright claims.
