Overview:
The Pirate: Plague of the Dead is a sandbox pirate adventure game where players take command of their own ship, explore the Caribbean, build a fleet, trade, loot, conquer cities, and fight intense naval battles.
Players take the role of legendary pirate captain John Rackham and use voodoo magic to raise the Flying Gang from the dead. Each resurrected pirate captain has unique skills that can improve ship stats, increase gold, provide battle advantages, or even summon the mighty Kraken.
With an open world without loading screens, campaign progression, historical pirate captains, ship upgrades, treasure hunting, trading, dynamic day and night cycles, weather, realistic physics, and large-scale sea battles, this project provides a strong foundation for creating a pirate sandbox adventure game.
