Overview:

VeloScroll is a Unity uGUI tool for building large, dynamic lists, grids, tables, feeds and menus. Instead of creating a GameObject for every entry, it reuses a bounded set of cells around the viewport, keeping the hierarchy manageable even when browsing datasets with up to 100,000 items.

Use it to create interfaces for inventories, shops, leaderboards, chat histories, quest logs, galleries and more. Configure layouts and interactions in the Inspector or through code, and use your own cell prefabs and visual style.

Features:

  • Virtualized cell recycling with live-cell and total-created-cell statistics
  • Vertical and horizontal lists, including variable-size single-track layouts
  • Fixed-row and fixed-column grids, plus staggered masonry layouts
  • Sectioned lists with separate header and row binding, and sticky headers
  • Virtualized tables with configurable columns and optional frozen headers
  • Multi-prefab lists with separate cell pools for each type
  • Start-, center- and end-aligned snapping, with item-index events
  • Viewport-based paging and instant or animated scrolling to an index
  • Seamless looping, auto-scroll marquees, pull-to-refresh and load-more events
  • Drag-to-reorder and nested-scroll routing
  • Runtime data binding, live item counts, and support for inserting, removing and refreshing items
  • CSV and JSON import with delimiter detection, quoted fields and nested-object flattening
  • Scroll-driven focus scale, parallax, fade and depth effects
  • Reusable animation preset and theme assets
  • Inspector authoring tools, ready-to-use list and grid creation menus, and project validation checks
  • Includes 16 sample and demo scenes, a 16-module interactive showcase and 94 automated tests
  • Supports Unity's Built-in Render Pipeline, URP and HDRP

Platform:
